Biography of Dr. Ron Noy Video Transcription:

I’m the founder of Prestige Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine here in New York City. I started off as an athlete at Johns Hopkins University, where I was also studying biomedical engineering. When I graduated, I had aspirations of playing professional ball like most athletes, and I blew out my knee, and that kind of ended my career back then. Now, as we know, ACL surgeries aren’t career-ending, but back then it was.

So I then dedicated my life to, you know, being able to treat people that have these injuries to try to not let it end their careers. I then went to New Jersey Medical School in Newark, which is now part of Rutgers, and then did my residency in Brooklyn and New York City, and then a fellowship in Indianapolis with the doctors who took care of the Colts, and then came back to New York to start my own practice. As soon as I started practice, 9/11 hit after a month. I was a first responder. And then, slowly, things began to get back to normal and I built my practice, and it’s Prestige Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
